Thurcom has long been the market leader in Eastern Switzerland for internet, TV and landline telephony. The company earned this position with a strong customer focus. With the recent launch of a range of mobile products, nothing now stands in the way of the company joining the league of the “big” telecom providers.
Entering the market requires good planning and the right image. Farner adapted the brand to the existing values and the new product range. The first step was to overhaul the corporate design. An understated brand design, a vibrant colour set and a new design language now show Thurcom as the self-confident company it is.
The brief was to focus on customer benefit. This is reflected in the new tagline “Your region. Your network.”, which highlights the company’s customer focus and local roots. This tagline can be adapted as needed and so permits a direct approach to all different target groups.
With its location in St. Gallen, Farner was able to build on the regional factor in the implementation. One of the key elements is the new imagery, which is characterised by people and impressions directly from the Thurcom catchment area. The campaign, which will be communicated via all relevant channels and includes staff and partner training, is being well received. Initial sales figures for the new mobile offering are encouraging.
