Coca-Cola celebrates 80 years in Switzerland with a new visitor centre and the commissioning of a high-speed PET bottle filling plant. Our agency is asked to develop a campaign around these events that will strengthen Coca-Cola’s local connections in the public perception and encourage people to attend the events.
Strategy & solution
The 360-degree campaign based on the central #CokeJump4Switzerland idea invites Switzerland to join the ‘Coke Jump’ in the visitor centre. A charitable cause (Special Olympics) is incorporated in the campaign, which runs across all digital channels and kicks off with the opening of the visitor centre as a milestone.
Xherdan Shaqiri was the first to take the Coke Jump and open the #CokeJump4Switzerland campaign. One hundred twenty invited guests, among them many journalists, report on the ribbon-cutting and official opening of the visitor centre with Swiss Executive Council member Carmen Walker Späh and Dominique Rinderknecht.
