SBB More time for life: All SBB jobs starting from 60%

Baseline

By 2030, Switzerland will be facing a major wave of retirement, which will entail a shortage of skilled workers. The fluctuation rate has also increased strongly and the Great Resignation Trend is noticeable also in Switzerland. Our society is changing not only demographically, but also within its values. New ways of life, family and work therefore gain in importance.

Solution

As life sometimes takes up more time, SBB is advertising its jobs from 60% on. At the heart of the campaign there are three films showing the real and intense lives of three SBB employees.

The campaign kicked off with a study commissioned from the universities of Zurich and Berne on the topic of part-time work. Also, for the first time, an SBB job-sharing event took place as part of the campaign.

Outcome

The SonntagsZeitung was the first to report on the study and SBB's new offer. Over 20 reports followed throughout Switzerland and the echo in social media was very positive.

The films were viewed a total of over 10 million times. In September and October 2022, the number of applications for vacant part-time jobs increased by 160%.
