Over the past few years, Farner has evolved into the most complete communications agency in Switzerland. The keys to its success are its experts in Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Branding, Change and Commtech, who work with the client in teams tailored to the task at hand, to develop and implement effective solutions. This combination of high specialisation and co-creation has taken Farner right to the top among Swiss communication agencies, as shown by the ranking of the Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA 1st place), as well as various awards and creative rankings. Farner has now decided to no longer pursue the successful concept in Switzerland only, but to expand into Europe.
A European group of agencies is being built around the Farner brand. The successful positioning as a partner-led, integrated communications consultancy with a strong digital, creative and technological focus is set to be rolled out in multiple European countries. Farner sees the move as a response to a growing need among clients for complete communication solutions in different markets. “We have been gaining experience with pilot projects for some time and have come to the conclusion that the prospects for Farner in Europe are promising,” says Roman Geiser, CEO of the Farner Group. “We believe that the integrated and digital approach with the specialised mix of creation, behavioral design, relevant content and creativity will thrill clients,” Geiser affirms with respect to Farner International’s market potential.
Farner aiming to grow in Europe with its successful concept
Farner was looking for a suitable partner for its future plans and has found one in Waterland, the independent investment company. “Waterland, which has an office in Zurich, knows the communications market extremely well, has considerable digital expertise, and has guided an impressive European growth case to success with the digital agency Dept,” Geiser observes, explaining the choice of growth partner. “Farner is a brand and group of companies with a sound pedigree and a recipe for success for today and tomorrow. We have entered into this partnership with complete conviction and look forward to further accelerating the growth of recent years together on the basis of today’s positioning,” says Philippe Moser, Investment Director of Waterland in Zurich.
